blue amber

Fossil resin of plant origin that comes from the legume Hymenaea protera.
Blue amber is little known due to its rarity.
Under artificial light, blue amber appears like ordinary amber, but under sunlight it has an intense fluorescent blue coloration. When held against the sun it will appear as ordinary amber, and under ultraviolet light it will present a brilliant milky blue color.
