Metal meteorite pendant (Field of Heaven) with extendable leather cord.
- It originated in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, about 3.7 billion years ago.
- A shower of metallic meteorites impacted an extensive area of ​​northern Argentina, specifically between the provinces of Chaco and Santiago del Estero, approximately 4,800 years ago. These meteorites are fragments of a larger asteroid that disintegrated in space before reaching Earth. ​
- It was found in 1576.
- It is mainly composed of iron and nickel, with other elements in smaller proportions.
- It is classified as IAB coarse octahedrite.
