Serpula is a polychaete annelid aquatic exclusively marine, characterized by each segment carrying a pair of gifted parapodia numerous setae (which gives its name to the polychaete , literally - many setae - ) . Lives in a calcareous tube and you can close the tube with a cap , which is funnel-shaped , it is on rocks or shells with groups of dozens of individuals , in shallow water and calm up to 60 meters deep and feeds by filtering of water.
