Ascocystites sp.

The Eocrinoids appeared in the Early Cambrian and became extinct at the end of the Ordovician. They are composed of a calyx, a crown of appendages and a peduncle; From the calyx, formed by perforated plates and communicated by a complex system of respiratory pores, quite long and unbranched appendages (brachioles) develop in the upper part.
