Dunkleosteus sp.

It is very difficult to obtain a complete skull of a placoderm fish due to the dispersion of its plates when the animal dies.

This skull has restoration on its teeth, eyes and bottom plate, the rest is original.

Dunkleosteus (German: Dunkle "dark" + ancient Greek: osteos "bone") is a genus of placoderm fish that existed at the end of the Devonian period, from approximately 380 to 360 million years ago, in the Frasnian and Famenian.

Dunkleosteus was characterized by an armored head equipped with jaws with unusual dental blades. Dunkleosteus is considered one of the fiercest and deadliest marine predators that have ever existed. Up to six meters long and a ton in weight, this hunter was at the bottom of the food chain in his environment, and probably hunted all types of fauna.
