Eohippus, its name means “Eocene horse"We can find its origins in North America, from where it is assumed that it went to Asia, later arriving in Europe. This species lived from 55 to 50 million years ago. Its height ranged between 30 and 40 cm in height and it had four fingers on the forelimbs and three on the hind limbs, which indicates a transitional state. On its hands it had pads similar to those of a dog, but it did not have hooves.
