Euzonosoma tischbeinianum It is a species of echinoderm that dates back to the Devonian (about 400 million years ago). They are famous for their excellent conservation in the Hunsrück slates near Bundenbach. They have a very pointed conical calyx, long, thin arms without pinnules, and a pearly stem. The Hunsrück slate is a famous paleontological site, located in the Hunsrück massif, it is world class for its exceptional conservation of soft tissue fossils thanks to pyritization.
