Lophophyllidium proliferarum

Rugged corals (rough either Tetracoralla) are an extinct group of anthozoans (class of animals from the phylum Cnidaria that are exclusively polyp-shaped) tetracoralaria.

Solitary rugose corals (e.g. Caninia, Lophophyllidium, Neozaphrentis, Streptelasma) are often called horn corals because they have a single horn-shaped chamber with a wrinkled or wrinkled wall. When radiating septa are present, they are generally in multiples of four, hence they are also called Tetracoralaria. The presence of these septa causes these corals to present bilateral symmetry, unlike common cnidarians.
