Scyphocrinites was a non sesil crinoideo, of I swim frees.It presented a lobolite or floater, divided in cameras, this structure faciltaba the displacement of the animal, thus contributing to his great geographic extension. From the lobolito one it leaves a long cylindrical stem crossed by canalículo of pentagonal section, and in its end a pear-shaped chalice is developed, formed by a great number of plates, whose surface presents a radial ornamentación. In each radius two arms of the same size grow that ramifican several times dichotomizingly.
